The genuine Christian self truly comes into being when we face and surrender to everything that stands in the way of our divine purpose. It is only through this process of confrontation and dying to the ego, pride, or false identities that we can begin to uncover who we are meant to be. When we fully commit ourselves to our spiritual calling—mindful of the subtle line that separates divine mystery from divine reality—we come to a deeper understanding of our true nature. How can any individual truly know themselves if their actions are driven by motives that are misaligned or rooted in ego, selfishness, or ignorance? There exists, undeniably, a heavy weight—a burden—that prevents the self from fully embodying the potential that God has bestowed upon it. To dwell solely within mystery, to remain absorbed in the unknown, can lead to a forgetfulness of the self’s true purpose; yet, to live in the light of divine truth and reality allows us to rejoice in the freedom that comes from understanding our divine calling and purpose. Recognizing our human limitations is essential because it reveals the boundaries that divine law has established for us. In this light, true justice requires us to reject any illusion that our understanding of ourselves can be entirely contained within the realm of mystery. We possess what God has revealed—His words, His law, His promises—and these revelations serve as guiding lights. Still, there exists a deeper, more mysterious communication that surpasses our full comprehension; it is a divine dialogue that beckons us beyond mere understanding into a realm of divine intimacy. Nevertheless, access to true understanding is always granted because God’s words are spoken in a manner that we can receive wholly and integrally—holistically—so that we may grasp their meaning. These words come to us as divine laws, decrees, commands, and promises—each uttered through divine pronouncements that establish order amidst chaos, beauty amid disorder. The true self emerges most clearly when we navigate carefully the delicate boundary between blessing and cursing, embracing the mystery of what remains hidden and the clarity of what has been revealed. To truly understand and discern our authentic self, we must pay attention to how God communicates with us—through His word, His creation, and His Spirit. All of creation is inherently good, right, and just because it is ordered by God's perfect communication. In this sense, at every moment, we are what God has decreed—reflecting the divine design and purpose ingrained in creation. We are, in essence, what things are meant to be because they are ordered according to His divine will and speech. Yet, not all of God's communication has been fully revealed to us; some aspects remain in mystery. Despite this, God has provided us with a simple yet profound means of understanding everything: His spoken word. Every word He utters is fundamentally Trinitarian—echoing within the divine fullness of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—creating a divine symphony that sustains all things. Would you like me to further adjust the tone, focus more on a particular aspect, or expand on any specific point?
