Our faith is rooted in what God has already spoken—promises and truths that have been declared—and in what will come to pass in our personal lives. Essentially, we are collectively agreeing here on earth about what has already happened throughout the entire history of the universe, which stands before God as something present and known to Him. This understanding is the foundation of our confidence that our faith will be fulfilled, because it is grounded not in our own desires or efforts but in God's command and divine decree. Consequently, we are intrinsically linked to divine power. The means through which we become who we are in Christ is found in God's Word. It is through this divine Word that we gain access to supernatural power—power that surpasses natural understanding. Since the universe is a divine creation infused with heavenly power exercised by God's will, we are assured that when we pray according to God's purpose, we will receive what we ask for. This is because our perception of reality in this three-dimensional realm is mediated through faith. By recognizing and acknowledging God as the ultimate authority in all things, we focus our attention on everything necessary to live a righteous life. This focus involves our gaze upon Christ, who embodies the ultimate reality and truth. In doing so, we draw all our needs and provisions through faith in Him. Christ is not merely the bearer of divine glory; He is the embodiment of Truth itself—truth in its purest form and in every aspect. This understanding clarifies why we find light within His light or experience the beatific vision—the direct, unmediated encounter with the divine. The beatific vision represents the highest state of salvation we pursue, the ultimate fulfillment of our spiritual longing to see and be in God's presence.
