As we contemplate the diminishing presence of our doubts, we become increasingly aware of His ongoing support in preventing us from falling into complete disbelief. Even amidst our uncertainties and struggles, He remains steadfast by our side, demonstrating an unwavering kindness that never fails to comfort us. If only we fully understood the depth of our shortcomings and inadequacies in His divine presence, we would be compelled to pause for deep reflection and perhaps even mourn our shortcomings with heartfelt lamentation. We should recognize His presence woven into our hymns of praise, embedded within our thoughts throughout the day, and shining in our nights—offering us solace and joy that surpass human understanding. Yet, in acknowledging His immense kindness, we are sometimes led to question how deep that kindness truly runs and whether it extends even to someone as imperfect as ourselves. Ultimately, we find ourselves reminiscing over past experiences, for the memories granted to us serve as a mirror, allowing us to evaluate the state of our hearts in the present moment and draw inspiration from instances of divine love and mercy. Through this ongoing process of reflection, we come to realize the persistent nature of our thoughts and doubts, which, in turn, reveal that God's existence and presence transcend the limits of time itself. This understanding guards us from the despair of believing that God is absent or nonexistent. We acknowledge that God has existed eternally and will continue to do so beyond the reach of our mortal comprehension. By contemplating His majesty, power, and eternal nature, I am often brought back to reason at critical moments, enabling me to restore my trust not in my own strength or understanding, but solely in Him. One of the greatest struggles I face is doubt—a force that constantly reminds us of our fundamental insufficiency. During times of burden and responsibility, we instinctively turn to God for help, yet the truth remains that genuine spiritual progress can only occur when we recognize that the journey toward salvation begins with divine grace and is achieved through divine intervention. This realization creates a paradox: we earnestly seek God's presence and favor, yet at times we hesitate or withhold our help, preferring to cling to doubt rather than faith. It would be easier to rely solely on our own abilities, perceptions, and feelings; however, such reliance often leads to resentment, frustration, and dissatisfaction. Self-confidence rooted in ourselves tends to foster doubt and a life devoid of true contentment. This situation resembles a spoiled child who refuses comfort because they must first admit their need for salvation—focusing instead on God and His grace, rather than on their own limited efforts. Recognizing this, I often feel vulnerable and weak, reminded of my limitations when contrasted with His boundless power and majesty. God's grandeur can be overwhelming, yet it also inspires us to consider how our lives might transform if we truly acknowledged and embraced His majesty and absolute sovereignty. Reflecting on these truths encourages a shift in perspective, urging us to trust more fully in His divine plan and to surrender our fears and doubts at His feet.
