They will treat you with respect. They’re familiar with the two-line blabber that people often talk about. I have personal experience as a father. I’ve raised my children in my own way. The men who advise you to put strict rules on your kids should not be listened to. Trust my words, I spent forty years advocating for unlimited freedom in raising children. Let me share something with you, my friend. Yes, I’m looking you straight in the eye and engaging with the child directly. All you did was confine that child within your own narrow box. When I recited the Psalms, I wasn’t trying to restrict my child; I was actually trying to overcome all his objections and doubts. Be a leader, not a dull follower of religious rules. Here’s a little secret I’ll tell you: the opposition’s strategy against me was to ramp up warnings about sin and wrongdoing. It was like a wrestling match. Now, let me ask you something: you say that laws impose restrictions on both me and my neighbor. But I have no power to change anyone else’s behavior. How can you say that you can’t change the restrictions placed on your neighbor, yet you are bound by the law and must accept that you are subject to it? That argument is as absurd as claiming that my sin isn’t truly wrong. It’s made up and nonsensical. Prophetic messages aren’t within your control either. I know that many Americans dislike the idea that God is truly sovereign, as His word states. Do you realize how simple it is to oversee children when there’s a disruptive person present? It’s somewhat ironic that parents often praise themselves while being targeted by religious extremists. This creates a complicated situation. Think about this: if Satan disguises himself as an angel of light, he might avoid turning children into addicts of harmful influences. Instead, certain religious fanatics try to confine children within strict, rigid boundaries. If children don’t see the genuine essence of Christianity, they’re unlikely to respect their parents just because they repeat familiar teachings. Those who are insincere and superficial often fail to grasp the true moral principles embedded in the law. Such people tend to be opaque and untrustworthy, which is deeply troubling. Please stop being a hypocritical religious fanatic. Instead, be honest with them and admit that divine disapproval does exist.
