A Prayer to the Infinite
O God, whose power spans the cosmic sea,
Beyond the grasp of mortal minds like me,
Your greatness weaves the stars, the void, the light,
An endless glory burning through the night.
Beyond the grasp of mortal minds like me,
Your greatness weaves the stars, the void, the light,
An endless glory burning through the night.
With reverent heart, I kneel, my soul laid bare,
My words a humble offering, my prayer.
No gilded phrase, but truth, I seek to bring,
To please You, Lord, my everlasting King.
My words a humble offering, my prayer.
No gilded phrase, but truth, I seek to bring,
To please You, Lord, my everlasting King.
Before Your presence, vast, eternal, pure,
I walk in awe, my steps both small and sure.
Your truths I’ll speak, to hearts that yearn to know,
To shape a future where Your blessings flow.
I walk in awe, my steps both small and sure.
Your truths I’ll speak, to hearts that yearn to know,
To shape a future where Your blessings flow.
From judgment’s throne, where righteousness is seen,
You weigh our lives, our motives, pure, unclean.
Yet mercy calls, and grace will lift us high,
To dwell with You where life shall never die.
You weigh our lives, our motives, pure, unclean.
Yet mercy calls, and grace will lift us high,
To dwell with You where life shall never die.
O Infinite, my soul to You I raise,
In honest love, in fervent, joyful praise.
Guide every step, till time and space unfold,
Your kingdom’s glory, radiant, uncontained, untold.
In honest love, in fervent, joyful praise.
Guide every step, till time and space unfold,
Your kingdom’s glory, radiant, uncontained, untold.
