The Begotten Word
Beyond the veil of time's thin thread,
Where mortal minds dare not to tread,
The Word, begotten, shines divine,
God's image, radiant, pure, sublime.
Not merely thought, nor fleeting dream,
But essence vast, eternal stream,
Outside of time, yet holding sway,
The source of night, the birth of day.
In Him, the future folds to now,
The yet to come, the why, the how.
Comprehensive sight, unbound, complete,
Where endless truths in glory meet.
No bounds of space, no tick of clock,
Can chain the Word, the living rock.
Efficient being, vast, profound,
In Him, all realities are found.
Begotten not as mere idea,
But life, the spark, the cosmic seer.
The bridge of God to mortal clay,
The truth, the life, the only way.
O Word, eternal, ever near,
Speak through the silence, calm our fear.
In You, the timeless heart does sing,
Begotten Light, our everything.
