The moments of anger or aggression that may arise in our lives are often rooted in a distorted understanding of God’s Word or a lack of sufficient knowledge about it. In this divine Kingdom, God's commandments serve a dual purpose: they condemn the unrighteous behaviors of those who stray from His will while simultaneously providing a protective shield for His faithful elect. Therefore, it is imperative for us to diligently pursue peace, a pursuit that resonates with the notion of being attuned to God’s thoughts and living under His gracious favor. Cursing, in this context, can be understood as speech that runs counter to the divine will of God. Those who manipulate or distort the truth of God’s Word are, in essence, bringing condemnation upon themselves. Such acts of cursing represent a subtle yet dangerous attempt to undermine the integrity of God’s Kingdom, seeking to inflict harm on both God and His devoted followers.
