Through His death, Christ severed all avenues for recovery rooted in our previous state as spiritual paupers. He definitively annulled the legalistic stipulations of the law, which were the source of the curses that afflicted us, and through His resurrection, He justified us to inherit the riches that He has secured for us. We have transformed from spiritual beggars into kings and priests in service to the Most High. Now, liberated from the curse of the law, we gaze upon a world steeped in darkness, where the very curses that once ensnared us have now become instruments for our greater purpose. Justified, we inhabit a reality of renewal, where the old self has been cast away and the new self has assumed its rightful place. Our authority is grounded in the power of the Word and the Spirit. We declare blessings—the royal proclamation—through both the Word and the Spirit, while actively renouncing the curse to erase any remnants of our former justified identity, thus cultivating a new life. The cross serves as a crucial emblem that delineates two separate realms of existence. It signifies the boundary between the reality of the past, which has been rendered obsolete, and the new, eternal life that we now embrace. This eternal presence signifies the dawn of a transformed reality. Through the cross, Christ vanquished the dominion of darkness and liberated us from the curse of the law that once held us captive to sin. We were once lost souls, subject to the corruption of this world, but our previous life had to fade away; it was devoid of redemption. The cross encapsulates our journey from death to life. It proclaims the impotence of past truths over us and empowers us to confront the corruption that continues to assail those who cling to the life we have left behind. By declaring the curse and the blessing, we consciously repudiate these old identities. This spiritual journey transcends the societal influences of evil and fundamentally entails liberating ourselves from the oppressive power over others. The incarnation of Christ stands as the pinnacle of what true value represents. It signifies the moment when a human being first graced the earth, embodying authentic blessing and coming with an unparalleled mission: to rescue humanity from the grip of sin. This moment heralded the realization of salvation, fulfilling every requirement of righteousness and triumphing over the curse through a deep comprehension of the inherent worth of all creation. While He was undeniably divine, He also represented the epitome of humanity. Had Christ not taken on human nature and lived a life characterized by perfect obedience, our hope for acceptance by the Father would have been extinguished. We would find ourselves lacking a true understanding of life’s inherent value, and the chance for salvation would have slipped away from us entirely. In such a dire circumstance, the very notions of hope, love, and blessings would become hollow and devoid of meaning. We would be left without a dependable standard for righteousness and blessings, rendering it impossible to cultivate any sense of assurance in our connection to a world marred by corruption. If not for a genuine human being who triumphed over the roots of sin's curse, we would remain ensnared by it, trapped in darkness and unable to uncover our authentic selves. The pervasive power of sin would overshadow our lives, smothering us with despair and the ever-present threat of damnation. In this grim reality, the incarnation of Christ serves as our deliverance from our own selves.
