Given that humanity is designed to flourish in a direct relationship with God, how can the divine engage with finite beings without overwhelming them with His infinite power? Those who naively long for absolute libertarian freedom fail to grasp that such a longing would necessitate God revealing Himself in all His majestic glory. Can you envision the implications of this scenario? Before humanity could even catch a glimpse of His indescribable glory, they would face annihilation. The need for God to temper His omnipotence stems from His profound love and careful consideration for humanity, allowing them to wield their own power without being consumed by it. The very essence of God's complete freedom is what enables humanity to experience extraordinary happiness and fulfillment. What rational individual would willingly choose to bear the immense burden of reflecting God’s boundless knowledge and divine understanding while striving earnestly to achieve their own goals? Such an individual would likely find themselves struggling under the weight of this sacred responsibility. In their ignorance, humanity often clings to the monumental burden of God’s attributes, overlooking the pure freedom that stems from God’s effortless existence. Viewed from this perspective, humanity may appear to be tragically misguided in its desires and pursuits. If humans possessed the ability to navigate through an infinite array of possibilities with absolute precision, it would inevitably lead to the erosion of genuine justice, true fairness, unwavering integrity, and the profound love that is essential to human existence. To safeguard the well-being of humanity and maintain the delicate balance of His creation, it is crucial for God to both generously grant and intentionally impose limits on every decision made by individuals. For God to allow humans the freedom to make their own choices, it would be necessary for Him to endow humanity with divine qualities that would ensure moral responsibilities are fulfilled. Do you genuinely believe that humanity is capable of mirroring the clarity and wisdom of God? Pursuing such a goal would result in considerable challenges. Should God offer humanity unrestricted free will, it would undermine the very essence of His divine nature. If He were to relinquish His role as the source of all essential existence, the entire universe would vanish in an instant.
