The undeniable truth is that Americans are deeply intertwined in politics, and it is essential for us to closely examine our beliefs. Many of our previous affiliations—what we once viewed as "clicks"—are not necessarily tied to widely accepted doctrines. The unrest within our country serves as a divine summons, drawing attention to the failings of hesitant leaders. It is not God's shortcoming that we fail to uphold every single biblical commandment. True philosophy encompasses the timeless truths found in God's law, His covenants, eternal judgments, and the fulfillment of His promises—principles that we can all find common ground on. Yet, we must also take into account the multitude of enduring curses that exist within the same framework. Salvation did not come about in isolation; it unfolded against a backdrop of historical conflicts, such as the Civil War. Therefore, it is imperative that we repent for our insincere teachings and adopt a more stringent message. Biblical law stands as an eternal indictment against unlawful restrictions, rather than concentrating solely on the potentially detrimental effects of newly enacted statutes. The expected consequences do not relate to these recent laws. It is the self-styled political prophets who claim that God reveals what they interpret as intended outcomes. We firmly believe that the eternal curse enforces immutable boundaries, and inevitably, those who pursue fortune-telling will face repercussions. Our silence and compliance as citizens are not the result of divine inspiration; rather, they reflect our own choices. Would I passively accept all of my wife's beliefs without questioning them? Absolutely not. I sought wisdom within Scripture and critically examined the teachings presented to me. It is vital to compare various perspectives in order to break free from the constraints of dogma. I have encountered the other side of religious orthodoxy and maintain a fundamental connection to the truth. It is crucial that we wake up to the reality we currently inhabit. The difficult truths regarding religious pragmatism have caused many Christians to fall into complacency and self-interest. The dominant attitude seems to revolve around job security, which fosters a weakening of moral standards. In a society where scrutiny has seemingly diminished, individuals may find themselves merely tolerated until they make a mistake. When faced with authentic spiritual trials, the typical response is often one of defensiveness, relegating these challenges to the realm of private concerns. There exists a hesitance to engage with the teachings of the Bible, largely due to its perceived inconvenience. We find ourselves in a state of turmoil; our circumstances appear desperate and chaotic. Many hold onto the hope that Jesus will rescue us from this distressing situation. However, we must not overlook the call to action that Jesus clearly articulated: we must rise up with determination and resilience. The Book of Revelation addresses those who triumph over their adversaries, indicating that divine justice serves as a response to the unrighteous. It is time to accept the challenge for moral clarity and strength when faced with hardship.
