As we immerse ourselves in the recitation of psalms and the practice of meditation, we deeply long to hear the voice of God, as clearly as if we were engaged in a conversation with another person. When we overlook the essential truth that we have been declared righteous through the divine act of sin being imputed to us via a legal transaction, we fail to recognize that our holiness and blamelessness are entirely founded on this extraordinary act of grace before a righteous God.
