The central question we face revolves around the very essence of grace: what choices can be considered deserving of it? If anything could genuinely be called worthy of grace, it would inherently lose its true nature as grace. When God encounters sinners, He reveals Himself as an all-consuming fire, a force that radiates from Him and envelops His adversaries on every side. This represents a profound judgment that often escapes our understanding. Yet, if we choose to accept this reality through faith, we elevate God by honoring Him for His divine actions and works. Our violation of even a single commandment leads to our failure to uphold the entirety of the law, a sobering truth we must confront. God's response to the plight of humanity can be viewed as the ultimate tragedy, a perspective we can only grasp at a superficial level. However, how He chooses to justify Himself transcends our capacity to satisfy our innate longing for justice. Ultimately, we can find solace only in the shadow of the curse that hangs over us, recognizing that it is only through grace that we may begin to comprehend the depth of our condition and the breadth of His mercy. The celestial and transcendent essence of grace beckons us to engage with its magnificence. Each decision we undertake unfolds within the context of divine wisdom, which is vital for the process of making choices. Without the sovereign will of God guiding the manifestation of our existence, we would be left to chart our own uncertain courses. In our fallen nature, we frequently distort the inherent simplicity of the Gospel, striving to manipulate it to fit our own desires and control. The entirety of salvation lies firmly within the realm of God's authority; we merely act in alignment with the abilities and opportunities granted to us through His grace. There is no object worthy of adoration that can compare to or exceed the majesty of God, for no person in this world has the power to dictate the choices we make. Grace, in its personal application to my life, encompasses not just the gifts I receive, but also my ability to respond to others with kindness and generosity.
