When we pursue a God capable of astonishing us, He articulates laws and delivers curses. Our encounters with His formidable presence invariably transform us in meaningful ways. While one might explain the transgressions of the law to a skeptic, a clear explanation of the Eternal Curse will cause them to withdraw immediately. They are already familiar with the voice of the law. The psalmist reminds us that genuine repentance is an act of divine intervention. God intentionally distances us from the Eternal Covenant, which has effectively addressed the enduring repercussions of the moral law's curse.
