We endure pain and suffering while inhabiting fragile human bodies that are bound to weaken, grow frail, and ultimately age over time. God originally designed humanity to thrive in an environment where communication flows seamlessly and without barriers. In this envisioned ideal, language would be a tool for unity and understanding, expressed in beautiful harmony. However, following humanity's fall from grace, our words have tragically transformed into instruments of discord and misunderstanding. This unfortunate reality is poignantly captured in the biblical narrative, which highlights the harm we inflict upon one another through our careless speech and actions. Yet, amidst this backdrop of societal decay and the pervasive impact of violence on our collective psyche, God's presence remains a source of profound awareness and understanding. He sees the heart of our struggles and the ramifications of our choices, and His sensitivity toward us is beautifully reflected in the divine countenance that we so desperately seek and long for.
