It is essential to recognize that angels wield a golden censer filled with the prayers of the saints—those heartfelt cries and laments of the faithful suffering believers—which they utilize to unleash divine fire upon the earth. These angels serve as our ministering spirits, actively working to pursue and thwart those who seek to do us harm. We find ourselves in the midst of a supernatural renewal, drawing upon heavenly assistance as we invoke God’s intervention in our trials. We have the potential to articulate prayers that are utterly devastating to the schemes of the wicked, functioning as heavenly fire that disrupts and dismantles their plans. The scriptures convey this ongoing struggle as a phenomenon that is ever-present before our eyes; the conflict has evolved beyond mere street battles and has seeped into our homes and the very core of our cherished values. Our personal freedoms, the essence of individualism, and the private joys we once held dear are now under threat, often from those who do not have our best interests at heart. The Old Testament recounts the various ways in which heaven intervened on behalf of God's people, exacting vengeance upon their enemies. Far from becoming distant or uninvolved in the New Testament, Christ ascends to His throne to enact a more profound and comprehensive judgment than what was previously experienced in Israel. He reigns supreme over the earth, empowering us with avenging angels and granting us the Spirit of supplication and defense. As we pray day and night, we experience a heavenly presence that intercedes for us, seeking our ultimate redemption and victory—when the King from heaven will avenge our blood. It is worth noting that many Christians find themselves seduced by the misleading doctrine of universalism, which asserts that God is the Father of all humanity and that Jesus did not condemn anyone—an assertion that conveniently overlooks His stern admonitions toward the Pharisees. To truly understand the intricate relationship between the divine workings of heaven and the unfolding events on earth, we must nurture a sense of hope by turning our hearts and minds toward the striking imagery depicted in the Book of Revelation. This connection emphasizes God's unwavering promise to avenge our suffering. In these turbulent times, it is crucial for us to recognize that angels, along with the entire host of heaven, stand before the throne, advocating for us in accordance with the Lamb’s deep concern for our well-being. This is precisely why we have been gifted with faith—a powerful tool that unleashes the ultimate salvation against Satan and his followers. The leaders of the earth—kings, princes, generals, the wealthy, and even the oppressed—will eventually face a swift and unforeseen reckoning for their actions. However, I would also like to address the more somber and challenging aspects of the Christian experience. Many individuals find themselves burdened almost to the point of despair, wrestling with the harsh realities that our times present. We are not merely battling against the malevolent schemes of the adversary, which often manifest through accusations and slander, but we are also confronting the broader and more complex challenges posed by the world around us. These insidious schemes are the cumulative result of the evil actions perpetrated by past generations, and there comes a moment when the intensity of this malevolence escalates alarmingly. God's promises represent an immense treasure trove of blessings that are available to us, yet we find ourselves in a season where much of this spiritual wealth is being accumulated in preparation for our ultimate inheritance in the eternal kingdom. In this present moment, we are engaged in a profound dialogue with the heavens, where our heartfelt prayers of supplication and cries for salvation are preserved and safeguarded for the time when divine justice will be enacted. Our expressions of anger, our blessings, and our urgent pleas for deliverance are carefully stored in heaven, awaiting the moment when they will be unleashed in response to unforeseen calamities. It is this very anger that will ignite a decisive response, one that will catch the world off guard. What, then, should be our course of action amidst the complexities of our current situation? In my exploration of the Book of Revelation, we encounter a vivid and comprehensive portrayal of the events that unfold in the presence of the Almighty. As the Lamb of God, Christ possesses a deep and intimate awareness of our struggles and sufferings. In a world marred by wickedness, He responds to us with unparalleled empathy and understanding. The sacrificial blood of the Lamb holds a significance that far surpasses the trials and tribulations faced by believers today. We are in service to a God who stands as a protector and defender of His chosen people.
