This connection between the deep spiritual realm and the inner man is where true transformation occurs, as we receive divine communication that imparts wisdom directly to our souls from God. I have personally experienced moments of falling into a euphoric state akin to a drug-induced slumber, perhaps induced by the Spirit’s breath or the illumination that accompanies this soul rest, which indeed has a spiritual impact. The human experience reveals that one of our most vulnerable states is when we harbor anger toward God. This feeling of anger is notably reflected in scripture, which often issues warnings about it. While I believe that anger can be a positive force in certain contexts, it becomes detrimental when an individual is unable to express it in any constructive manner. A world that feels turned completely upside down can serve as the breeding ground for this anger, allowing it to flow deeply within the human soul. When left unchecked, this anger becomes a potent fuel for a hardened heart. In my view, an excessive focus on sin often indicates that a person is grappling with profound internal struggles related to anger. This internal conflict can lead to an inclination to blame others, fostering an overall negative disposition. Individuals who find it difficult to separate their external surroundings from their inner thoughts are at risk of experiencing a range of violent reactions throughout their lives. However, the journey toward healing and redemption of anger must be undertaken with determination, especially in the face of adversity. We must engage in self-talk to bring our anger to a place of resolution. This process can take hours, days, or even years, depending on the extent of the opposition we face. Initially, this anger might feel overwhelming, but as time passes, it can ebb and flow like the tide. Ultimately, it can be transformed into a righteous indignation that becomes fertile spiritual soil. This is why all forms of anger find their resolution in God: the act of consuming this anger leads to a sense of retribution that is ultimately healing. Spiritual desires remain unimpeded, while wicked desires are rendered insignificant, like chaff in the wind. God, in His wisdom, has provided us with a framework to align our desires with the reality around us. The foundation for our emotional and spiritual wholeness is laid through the teachings that encourage us to engage in self-talk that reflects the very nature of God. This is crucial because the way we express ourselves through speech significantly influences our internal disposition, far more than our outward actions. Our actions may serve as a bridge between individuals, but God directs His focus on our internal thought world, emphasizing that it is our words that ultimately shape our reality.
