This Christian culture, which we strive to cultivate, is as pure as our ability to manifest it before God as we confront and dismantle the influences that have ensnared the minds of the current generation. God reminds us, “You have not because you ask not.” This prompts us to reflect on how much doctrine we should seek from God in faith, asking Him to guide us back to His divine way of communication, to the ancient practices that have served as a foundation for generations. It is only by taking every thought captive and ensuring it aligns with Christ that we can truly experience the fullness of His truth and grace. There are times when God allows entire generations to endure hardship because both the church and the wider world have turned away from the simple yet profound practices of love and submission. In our efforts to discern the challenges we face, we must embrace a sense of mystery, recognizing that we are engaged in a struggle that touches upon the very fabric of life and death. While there are various forms of authority present in our world, it is in Christ that we find the ultimate authority—one that empowers us to restore the principles of the past through blessings and even through the act of cursing.
Why would we continue to confine and restrict our old ways of thinking within the walls of the pulpits? It is essential to recognize that our own intellect, while valuable, ultimately holds no true power on its own. The real power lies in how we interpret and apply His word in our lives, as it is through this understanding that we can effectively confront and dismantle the principalities and powers that seek to dominate our thoughts and actions. To act in a manner that is just and righteous, we must fully embrace and accept the entirety of His counsel, integrating all teachings into our lives. Only then can we hope to harness the transformative potential of His word in a way that empowers us to rise above the limitations of our previous mindsets and engage with the world in a meaningful and impactful way. In doing so, we open ourselves up to the possibility of spiritual growth and enlightenment, allowing us to break free from the chains of outdated beliefs and embrace a more profound understanding of our purpose and calling.
