The Psalms begin with the reasonable premise that curses are indeed pronounced upon the wicked, who remain blind to the deeper truths and fail to grasp the full extent of their condition. They live without the insight that comes from divine revelation, and thus, they remain disconnected from the life-giving understanding that the saints possess. In this spiritual battle, the distinction between the righteous and the wicked is not merely a matter of moral conduct but a profound reflection of one's alignment with God's eternal truth and purposes. The saints, therefore, stand as beacons of light and truth in a world engulfed in darkness, equipped to navigate the complexities of life under God's sovereign rule. You are not a God who delights in evil; the wicked cannot find a place in your presence. In the beginning, when the earth was shrouded in complete spiritual darkness and moral decay, God acknowledged only His divine words and extraordinary gifts as the foundation of rightful governance. This governance is not just a matter of earthly authority but reflects a higher spiritual order. The saints, those who are aligned with God's will, are the rightful stewards of the created world. This stewardship is rooted in the creation covenant, which entails a sacred responsibility to uphold the law of God.
