So, I ask, what has happened to our confidence? Where have we strayed? Let us rise, O Lord! Lift up Your mighty hand, and do not forget the helpless! Arise, I say... Arise!!! We are a people who harness the power of God's Word to foster ongoing salvation within His armies. I hesitate to refer to this as merely a "church," as I strive to bridge the gap between the Old Testament understanding of community and the New Testament revelation of the church. Unfortunately, we have been misled by the prevailing teachings of American deism, which have clouded our comprehension of our spiritual identity and mission. In this age, we cannot afford to be complacent or passive, particularly when it comes to the communication of worldly matters. Instead, we must rise to the occasion and engage in larger battles that matter in the grand scheme of things. My friends, we are part of a grander movement that extends far beyond our individual struggles and challenges! Yet, it is essential to understand that God views our seemingly small problems through a much broader lens. He sees them as mere symptoms of a more significant issue at hand. We refuse to be lured into a narrow moral satisfaction that offers a false sense of security. Instead, we boldly approach the judge of the earth, who sits enthroned in power, calling forth our salvation with authority! We speak to the One who makes the mightiest of men tremble in their strongholds! We stand before a throne where, with just a single word from God, the entire world can be shifted on its axis! We call upon God to intervene in the highest realms, focusing our attention on global events that shape our reality. We acknowledge the presence of dark clouds looming over our world, yet we also recognize the overwhelming light of God's glory that shines over the entire universe. We confront the storms that threaten us—whether they be natural disasters like tornadoes or the ominous threat of nuclear power. We engage in fervent prayer to unseat the evil kings who oppress and dominate. We are the descendants of the Davidic lineage, a lineage that calls upon God to come forth in His fiery chariots, bringing justice and equality to all humanity. We find ourselves in a world that feels completely turned upside down. The covenants established by God are fundamentally national in nature, rooted in His divine promises to nations. Rather than seeking a singular miraculous event, we are called to embrace a paradigm of supernatural thinking that transcends conventional understanding. It is crucial that we reject teachings that lead us into a mindset of bondage and limitation—after all, one can convey the essence of slavery merely through personal experiences!
