Our understanding of salvation places us in the sanctuary of God's refuge, where we find shelter beneath His protective wings. This divine shelter shapes our vision of the future; we envision ourselves standing on the other side of judgment, witnessing the fate of the wicked as they are cast away into eternal separation. In our minds, we can vividly picture this tribunal gathering, likening it to birds falling from the sky, stricken by an incurable disease. Yet, despite the gravity of this imagery, we find solace in the truth that we cannot be destroyed; not even the most venomous serpent can strike us down. The certainty of this truth is as unwavering as our very existence on this earth. It is within this dynamic of longing for God that we discover an extraordinary strength to persevere until the very end. This worship is not confined to a physical building; it is a heartfelt response that resonates within us. As we grow in our understanding and illumination, we begin to surrender the influence of worldly powers, feeling our hearts subdued by the immeasurable greatness and power of God. We echo the sentiment of the psalmist: "Whom have I in heaven but You, O God? And being with You, I desire nothing on earth. Though the strength of my heart may fail me, You are the strength of my heart." This profound declaration encapsulates our journey—a journey of worship that leads us ever closer to the heart of God. We are a community that thrives in the radiant illuminations of a reality beyond our own, and it is this hope that sustains us in our earthly journey. With eyes of faith, we look beyond the veil of the present world, yearning to touch the eternal, to experience a new dawn or a transformation of our spirits. These moments of awakening and renewal are what we call revivals—both personal and corporate expressions of worship where we collectively step into the experience of another realm, one that resonates with the beatific vision of Christ. And so, here we stand, illuminated by the truth of our faith, gazing into the future with hope. Our eternal life does not merely await us in some distant tomorrow; it is a present reality that we experience right now. In worship, we transcend the illusion that the weight of our earthly circumstances has any real power over us. The oppressive structures of a world that rejects God lose their grip on our hearts as we encounter His goodness in our worship. When we are stripped of our false securities, we come to a profound realization: the presence of God is the only source of true satisfaction in our lives.
