If the law did not impose eternal consequences for corruption, God would find Himself without the necessary authority to enact just punishment. This would create a scenario where both parties in conflict would bear responsibility, and humanity would lose hope for restoring a standard of justice. Consequently, God chose to delegate moral authority to humanity, extending His grace beyond mere criminal statutes and into the realm of divine judgment. Satan became the first to manipulate and redefine moral law, presenting a significant challenge to God's intentions. God had wisely instituted laws to guide the intelligent beings He created, enabling them to discern right from wrong based on genuine goodwill rather than malevolent desires. Without this moral framework, humanity would lack the capacity to truly experience the joy of fellowship with God, which is why He established laws with clear stipulations. Had God merely enforced punitive measures in response to wrongdoing, humanity might have twisted those laws to assert dominance over the world through violence and chaos. Satan's manipulation of the law became a tool for establishing his tyrannical rule, leading to the systematic destruction of mankind. God, in His profound understanding, recognized that should moral standards be perverted—should society come to view evil as good and good as evil—Satan would methodically undermine the very essence of God's glory. Currently, Satan is engaged in a subtle campaign to distort the law, twisting every divine attribute in the process. He warps concepts such as grace, eternal glory, impartial justice, and righteousness, as well as the very fabric of objective reality. God was determined to provide a legal framework that transcended human governments, while Satan sought to establish laws that would lead to self-destruction. His aim was to distort the concept of salvation and undermine societal structures, all with the intent of obliterating God's glory. Nevertheless, God retains sovereignty over all injustices, holding dominion over life and death. He has never relinquished control over eternal salvation, which signifies the renewal of life and the pronouncement of death. To maintain control over the inherently wicked nature of humanity, God had to impose severe consequences. In this tumultuous landscape, Satan seized the opportunity to redefine legal principles to serve his own ends. If God had not declared death as the fate for wrongdoers, Satan could have easily established a brutal regime, leaving God without the means to reclaim authority. The crux of the issue lay in the fact that this divine declaration did not grant any legitimate authority for governance, leaving a significant gap in the establishment of order. In his cunning, Satan reasoned that if he could seize control of human law, he would possess the means to effectively govern the earth and lead humanity toward destruction. Armed with a profound yet twisted understanding of the law, he infiltrated the idyllic garden, ready to exploit its inhabitants.
