I Many people fail to allow God to liberate them completely from their personal identities. I didn’t compartmentalize my life into separate roles, like working from home or engaging in various occupations. Everything was interconnected for me. I focused on nurturing non-materialistic relationships, continually expanding my circle without reacting to external pressures. My existence was not defined by societal expectations. Instead, I found peace within a realm that transcends this flawed world. In this kingdom, the homeless and the abused endure immense suffering, often overlooked by a society that places little value on their lives. Yet, the eternal kingdom of God operates in a profoundly different way—its values are often inverted and out of sync with worldly standards. This journey requires embarking on a path of aesthetic pleasure with God, a process that gradually strips away one’s ego. It is only then that you can voluntarily surrender everything to Him, which is the essence of being a true Christian. When you earnestly seek God, He becomes your ultimate source of joy. This aesthetic pleasure you experience will be rigorously tested against the values imposed by the world around you. God knows how to engage with a passionate heart before presenting the final challenge. When your heart is aligned with Him, the act of releasing your selfish desires allows Him to take hold of your personal achievements with grace. I lived my life as if adhering to a traditional nine-to-five job, with a partner at home, was beneath my dignity. I genuinely believed that such a lifestyle was selfish. My family dedicated themselves to serving others, while I felt disconnected from what is often referred to as the American Dream. That dream was never mine to claim.
