However, the worship described in these chapters is devoid of such corruption. Here, God is recognized and revered as He ought to be, receiving the worship of all creation in perfect harmony—finally! Yet, for this glorious future reality to come to fruition, God must first execute His final judgment. This necessity creates a deep yearning for that judgment, as it is only through this divine decree that God can be fully acknowledged as God in every facet of existence. He must take the scroll and declare His judgment, thus bringing glory to Himself by addressing and purging sin through His final, purifying fire. God resides in unapproachable light, radiating beauty woven from the myriad colors of His presence. The sounds emanating from His throne resemble the intricate orchestration of a symphony, inviting all of creation to join in the chorus of praise and adoration for God. We observe the hierarchical order of beings within the universe, starting from those celestial beings that encircle the throne and extending down to the creatures that inhabit the waters of the Earth. Every creation, in its essence, is good and contributes to the ultimate glory of God. This is a fundamental reality that demands all of creation to join in a symphonic proclamation of glory and praise to God in response to His greatness! What we witness here is a powerful reversal of the corrupted order, ushering in a new era where everything aligns to honor and exalt God. In these two chapters, we are presented with a profound and awe-inspiring vision of God. It becomes abundantly clear that God is the source of all glory, deserving of recognition for every aspect of existence. The ultimate truth that emerges is that all things are oriented toward God, resulting in a state of perfect worship and praise that honors Him in the way He rightfully deserves. In stark contrast, our present world is fragmented and chaotic. In the midst of sin and corruption, we find that there is no moment where the exaltation of God is truly realized. Sin has distorted the created order, leading humanity to reject and disregard God. Consequently, the world exists in a state of disarray, where the splendor of God's glory remains unseen and unacknowledged. This disconnection results in pervasive pain and sorrow throughout our experience. In this life, our worship serves as a pathway toward the ultimate judgment of God, aimed at liberating those who are bound. From His throne, we witness flashes of lightning and the rumble of thunder, reminiscent of the crashing waves and the harmonious sound of pearls gently colliding. This interplay of beauty and sound illustrates the unity of all things in God’s presence.

This envisioned future embodies the ultimate goodness, a manifestation of God's perfect attributes that we are called to respond to in our lives. It is through our service and worship that we reflect these divine qualities, engaging in a profound relationship with our Creator as we strive to embody His goodness. Let us take a moment to contemplate the final reversal of all things—the day when every tear will be wiped away, every heartache will be healed, and the fragmented pieces of our reality will be woven back together into a beautiful tapestry of unity. From the very throne of God will flow this new unity, a divine harmony that transcends our current struggles and disarray. Picture a world where love reigns supreme, where justice and mercy are perfectly balanced, and where every creature recognizes its place in the grand design of the Creator. This is not merely an abstract ideal but a tangible reality that we can anticipate with hope and excitement. As we dwell on these promises, let us cultivate a deeper understanding of our role in responding to God's attributes and the ways in which we can actively participate in bringing about this restoration. Do you sense the profound disconnection that the burden of sin has imposed upon our lives and the world around us? It can be overwhelming to recognize how this disjointedness permeates our existence, creating a chasm between our current experience and the wholeness we instinctively long for. In contrast, can you envision the future reality that awaits us, a time when all things will be made right and restored to their intended purpose? In that glorious moment, the entirety of creation will harmoniously praise and honor God, giving Him the glory He rightfully deserves.
