God does not tempt anyone nor does He lead anyone to commit evil acts. Instead, it is the individual’s own desires and inclinations that drive them toward sin. As long as sin resides within a person, they are susceptible to giving in to it. This inherent tendency to sin is a consequence of the original sin committed by the first man, Adam, who failed in his exercise of free will. Because of this failure, every human being is born with sin imputed to their account, resulting in a profound and total corruption that affects the entire timeline of humanity. If individuals were capable of sinning without God's awareness, it would imply that such actions occur independently of His omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence. However, the reality is that God is actively involved in the orchestration of all things, and the universe unfolds according to a series of events that He has predetermined long before creation. Therefore, the occurrence of sin cannot be viewed as a mere coincidence or chance event outside of God's sovereign decrees. In this framework, even the existence of sin is ultimately encompassed within God's divine plan.

Now, I challenge you to take a stand as well. Before everyone gathered here, I ask you to make a solemn promise—one that acknowledges the significance of personal accountability and the divine. Swear that the Twelve Steps truly encapsulate the essence of grace as you understand it. If you are truly sincere in your beliefs, then let’s not hesitate any longer. Let’s engage in this important discussion and delve into the transformative power of grace as articulated through these steps. It’s time to confront our beliefs head-on and explore what they mean for us in our journey toward healing and redemption.
