The matter of eternal punishment in relation to the concept of cruel curses is a profound and fundamental issue. There exists a clear dichotomy between living under a horrific curse and living amidst abundant blessings. A critical question arises: How can divine punishment serve as a blessing for anyone? Furthermore, if God curses all those who accuse others, how can a perfect individual ever be justly punished? Did God indeed wage war against the wicked? This inquiry arises from the reality that the wicked sought to annihilate both the righteous and God Himself with their cruelty. It is important to recognize that there exists a subtext—the underlying tensions we face in every direct conflict in our lives. This personal struggle is primarily rooted in the inevitable opposition that arises against the profound knowledge of God. Although no amount of personal discipline can seamlessly piece together the complexities of existence, it is ultimately God who holds the power to bring an evil person's life to an end, condemning them to eternal separation from Him. There exists only one path to redemption at a time, which will ultimately culminate in absolute judgment. The declaratory judgment of God is already definitive from His objective perspective, rendering curses as irrevocable and final. Undoubtedly, we recognize that God exclusively blesses the righteous, affirming His unwavering commitment to justice and righteousness. According to divine revelation, God has proclaimed that all of scripture is both inspired and beneficial for humanity. However, some may argue that our will must yield profitable outcomes in order for us to experience true prosperity. Yet, we must understand that God is not a passive observer, idly watching the events unfold on Earth from His heavenly throne. Instead, God actively establishes His reign from above, continuously asserting His authority through His spoken word. This divine proclamation prescribes the very essence of existence, dictating everything that comes to fruition. It is through His laws, promises, statutes, curses, and blessings that God determines what must be accomplished. Curses, in this context, serve as God's mechanism for dismantling the wicked desires that plague humanity. Blessed be God, who guides the righteous by aligning their desires with His divine will. How, then, does God orchestrate remarkable success while deliberately dismantling the schemes of the wicked within His creation? Through His creative word, God counters the violent ambitions of the unrighteous and generously bestows His blessings upon the righteous. However, the wicked respond by cursing both the righteous and God Himself, necessitating that God intervene to eradicate their deceitful paths. When the psalmist engaged in the victorious battles chronicled in the Old Testament, the broader Christian experience was framed within a moral struggle against organized opposition. The aim was to fervently advocate for the righteous cause, while simultaneously calling upon God to silence those who aggressively challenge the righteous.
