In our relationship with God, everything is either blessed or cursed, and He is devoid of sin. God’s character shapes our understanding, providing us with an accurate depiction of reality and offering us salvation through a relationship with our Heavenly Father, all articulated through His perfectly conceived Word. His promises cannot be restructured or left unfulfilled, for they are anchored in His unchanging nature. When we speak of God having written a covenant, we must understand this within the framework of His perfect order and authority. The covenant is not merely a written agreement or a promise; it is a profound demonstration of His unwavering devotion, boundless grace, and tender patience. It showcases His divine kindness and gentleness, illustrating how grace itself has brought about a flawless order from the humble beginnings of creation to the ultimate fulfillment of all things in Christ at the final judgment. Salvation is an act of God revealing Himself to us as He fulfills His covenant within our lives, undertaking all necessary work to ensure that we meet our part of the covenant. In discussions surrounding covenants, many people tend to polarize their arguments. They assert that while God remains unwaveringly true to His side of the covenant, it is ultimately man's responsibility to act in accordance with these divine promises. I firmly believe that it is crucial for us to differentiate between God's covenant, as it pertains to His relationship with the people of Israel, and the divine seal that He places on the elect to ensure the fulfillment of His covenant promises.
