The divine communication channel does not involve withholding pleasure from us. Each creation of God is designed for our benefit, including our inherent metaphysical inclinations as imperfect humans. Initially, humans were created as righteous and good, but sin caused spiritual blindness and limitations. Salvation seeks to restore humanity to its original state of goodness, free from sin. Believers are promised a future reign on earth without sin and weakness. God has given us a new will during our earthly existence, allowing us to enjoy eternal pleasures through our spiritual rebirth. Although our desires may still be tainted by past corruption, God sees us through the power and ability of Christ, shaping a future reality that exceeds our imagination. Our journey is guided by our familial relationship with God, under a new identity. Our desires align with His, as He understands and empathizes with our weaknesses and fragility. Like a compassionate father caring for his children, the Lord shows kindness and understanding towards His own, making gentle adjustments due to our imperfect nature. The process entails focusing on Christ, reflecting on His teachings, and undergoing a transformation to emulate His character. This metamorphosis involves aligning our thoughts, desires, and will with His, albeit not to the same degree, but in a manner that mirrors His capabilities. It is crucial to recognize that we are unable to achieve goodness independently of Christ's influence. Our responsibility is to genuinely aspire to do good, while our autonomy stems from acknowledging our reliance on Him. Ultimately, we comprehend that our adherence to righteousness is not attained through our own endeavors, but through Christ's direction. In the afterlife, our own moral righteousness will not suffice for entry into heaven due to the sinful nature of our actions on Earth. Our only hope of being accepted into God's presence is through the sacrificial redemption provided by Jesus Christ, which absolves us of guilt and provides a fresh start. While the concept of eternal life and salvation may be challenging to comprehend, it is a reality for those who choose to embrace Christ. Those who reject this offer of salvation will face consequences and judgment, receiving nothing of worth in the eyes of God.
