Each interaction and connection we engage in is influenced by sin, shaping our perceptions of ourselves and others. People often seek approval and belonging by participating in the collective wrongdoing that permeates society. It is uncommon for individuals to go against societal norms, as most opt to align themselves with the majority to fit in. Those who resist often do so for self-preservation rather than to honor God. The question of what motivates individuals to conform to cultural standards remains unanswered as we grapple with the complexities of sin and its impact. Our ongoing struggle with sin reflects the conflicting ideologies present in our world. Sin is not just individual actions, but a pervasive system that enslaves humanity to evil. From birth, we are immersed in a world filled with challenges and temptations. If we simply follow the crowd and adhere to societal norms, we become captives of the sinful patterns prevalent in our world.Men are inherently sinful and as a result, conform to societal norms and values. They are often driven by a desire for power and dominance in order to assert themselves as leaders. This inclination to mask their true nature and present a facade of righteousness is rooted in a profound animosity towards God. The unregenerate man is unable to comprehend spiritual truths and instead prioritizes material possessions, outward appearances, and accomplishments as metrics of self-worth. This relentless pursuit of worldly achievements is what characterizes sin and erects a separation between man and God.
