Our reception of eternal life is not solely based on our actions in the Christian life. Rather, we are judged by the standard of the quality of eternal life that we are receiving. Christ's experience of eternal life on earth was characterized by complete unity with all of creation in human form on an eternal level. When we engage in prayer and meditation on these concepts, our souls are expanded. This expansion occurs as we absorb the positive aspects of human expression and release the negative aspects. We begin to embody the qualities of Christ such as love, joy, and peace as we reflect His human form. Through the words of the Psalms, we are able to understand and appreciate the depth of Christ's expression, often referred to as the "weight of glory" in the Bible. These expressions serve to enlarge our souls as we are enveloped in a love that surpasses our understanding and transcends our human definition of love. Eternal love merges with the human expression of love, transforming us in the process.
