I long to revisit the era of the early church, characterized by their dedication to the teachings of the apostles, communal fellowship, shared meals, and prayer. I view church history not as a linear progression of knowledge but as a series of highs and lows. The high points in history have been crucial in guiding us through the low points. My longing for revival stems from a desire to experience the transformative impact of the early church, imperfections included. The current condition of the church can be attributed to a lack of grasp on this historical perspective, which impedes our understanding of our present challenges. By recognizing this perspective, we can gain insight into the reasons for our current difficulties.
