The concept of sin has been a longstanding issue that humanity has grappled with throughout history. It is unnecessary to dwell on feelings of blame and guilt. Some individuals argue that if a Christian strays from their faith, it would be acceptable for God to judge them if it ultimately brings glory to Him. However, this viewpoint contradicts biblical teachings. Salvation is intended to offer protection and assurance to believers. It is not earned through good deeds, but rather received through God's grace and forgiveness. Salvation is not a topic open for debate; it is a gift that believers can confidently receive.
It is believed that all individuals are deserving of condemnation to hell, reflecting a low standard for humanity that renders self-salvation impossible. However, salvation is found in Christ, not in our own actions. The concept of divine justice is emphasized, with God being portrayed as a consuming fire and enforcer of justice. His judgment is described as all-encompassing and originating from the highest place in the universe. Ultimately, God's plan is predestined and He will judge those who reject His mercy and grace. The wicked, in turn, deny God's sovereignty and oppose His will.
The assurance of our salvation can be likened to the seal on an official government document, affirming our entitlement to the rights and privileges bestowed upon us as children of God through the sacrifice of Jesus. This seal symbolizes the steadfast and unconditional love of God towards us. With this unwavering love as our foundation, we can approach God confidently and boldly, secure in the knowledge that His love for us remains constant. Similar to David, who, despite his transgressions, relied solely on God's unwavering love in his prayers and petitions as documented in the Psalms. David consistently appealed to God to act in alignment with His enduring love.
Salvation can be understood as the continuous presence of God in our lives, bestowing upon us His unfailing faithfulness and love. This divine gift, though often incomprehensible and underappreciated by us, carries implications that surpass our comprehension. It is solely within God's jurisdiction to determine our ultimate destiny. Due to our inherent inclination towards sinful behaviors, we may stray from God's path. Individuals who are driven by their sinful tendencies may struggle to recognize the benevolence of God, leading them to harbor animosity towards Him. God, being omniscient, discerns those who are worthy of His blessings and those who are not. His enduring love ensures that we will never be forsaken or cursed.
This concept posits that adversities and challenges are in fact divine blessings from God. It is imperative to acknowledge that God is not malevolent or indifferent, but rather perpetually loving, faithful, and compassionate towards us. This realization enables us to approach God with assurance and transparency, understanding that His judgments stem from affection and clemency. Rather than perceiving our hardships as hindrances, we can view them as opportunities for divine intervention and the establishment of justice. While it is natural to experience uncertainty and vulnerability in times of suffering, we can draw strength and solace from the knowledge that God is by our side throughout our trials. Let us opt to place our trust in God's plan and provide Him with our support as He navigates us through our tribulations.
