Men are unable to attain the eternal righteousness required by God and have been separated from Him since the fall. They are enslaved by sin and are subject to ongoing judgment. Men are in opposition to God, holding animosity towards Him and seeking to subvert His authority. They exist in spiritual darkness, lacking comprehension of God, and instinctively resist Christ. They have a repulsion towards anything associated with God and prioritize their own desires over Him. Their intentions lack love and compassion, resulting in a perpetual state of spiritual death and condemnation. Without the mercy of God, there would be no possibility of salvation.

The eternal and immutable nature of God's holiness necessitates holiness wherever His presence is felt. Men not only intentionally transgress against God's holiness, but also fall short of His righteous standards. They lack a deep understanding of the seriousness of His anger and lack a reverential fear of Him. Those who believe they can satisfy God will ultimately face His wrath and be unable to endure the full impact of His anger. Who is able to withstand the weight of God's wrath or oppose His eternal laws?

The purity and power of God's holiness is so profound that it evokes a sense of awe and humility in those who encounter it. The longer one remains in God's presence, the more they become aware of their own flaws and inadequacies. God's holiness serves as a reminder of human imperfection, prompting individuals to acknowledge their shortcomings. Despite our unworthiness, God offers forgiveness and compassion to those who deserve punishment. The righteousness and grace of God are beyond human comprehension, and even the most virtuous individual would be unable to meet His flawless standard.

God's eternal wrath will be unleashed upon humanity indefinitely, as He requires everlasting punishment in accordance with His eternal nature. Those who have not made amends for their transgressions will experience the full force of His anger, which is ever present in the presence of unrepentant sin. His perpetual fury will be evident in the judgments of this world, as He holds accountable those who face the impending reality of death. Through His righteousness, God's actions will be deemed just, and no one can evade His scrutiny. While we lament the repercussions of sin, we also cling to hope and rejoicing as we anticipate the ultimate restoration of all things in Christ, embracing His abundant grace.
