Why would you characterize a deity as schizoid? It is more beneficial for you to perceive God as inherently good in all His actions. By questioning God's nature, you are undermining the foundation of your existence. If God is likened to an unreliable figure, such as a drunken father, then His trustworthiness is called into question. Few would find comfort in being raised by a parent who exhibits such erratic behavior. I have observed individuals who do not adhere to any religious beliefs displaying a more stable and rational outlook on life.

It would be more intellectually stimulating to replace the use of God in your writing with the concept of a "drunk father." Using God as a scapegoat to depict an evil character in a story can be detrimental to your own credibility. If God is not portrayed as good, it could be seen as a form of intellectual self-destruction. Without the love of God, we are all left in despair. Why would anyone resist the universal concept of a loving ultimate father figure, regardless of their beliefs? It goes beyond simply causing harm; it shows a lack of respect for societal norms. If we fail to promote love within families, the world will become increasingly intolerable.
