When we believe in Christ, God no longer sees us as sinners without consequences. Instead, we are seen as having a substitute in Christ, who stands by us as a loyal friend. It is as if we have a steadfast companion always looking out for us and defending us, attributing our mistakes to human weakness. This friend showers us with gifts and unwavering love, even when we fall short. Christ remains faithful to us, even when we are not, alleviating the fear of death and inadequacy through His unwavering promise to support and uphold us. Despite the severity of our sins, God remains faithful to guide us through them. Even if we continue to sin, God will still provide for our needs when we encounter Him. He listens to our regrets about our past actions and urges us to wait patiently. Eventually, He will clothe us in a white robe symbolizing Christ's righteousness, free from sin, and we will gradually become more like Christ in eternity. God does not try to guide us through warnings or words of wisdom, but rather by showering us with blessings. His immense love for us extinguishes our worries, fears, and anger. He does not focus on counseling or warning us, but instead strengthens us to endure and shields us from overwhelming challenges. The love of God, beyond human understanding, stands against our sins, enemies, self-righteousness, and overpowering forces. This love is embodied in Christ, who stands in our place.
