As we strive for truth, we are rewarded with a fulfilling and selfless life by God. God's intention for us is to refrain from engaging in superficial conversations about worldly matters. He encourages us to listen for truth in subtle ways, such as in the intricate work of creation and in the depths of the human heart. God's delight is evident in His act of creation and recreation. His message is conveyed through His spoken word, which brings everything into existence and sustains it. Through His saving word, God renews all things. By studying His word and receiving guidance from His Spirit, we are filled with a sense of joy that allows us to focus less on ourselves. As we progress in our spiritual journey, we become more capable of letting go of worldly desires.
There are various stages in life where we may experience different challenges and lessons from God. Sometimes, we are given the ability to serve others wholeheartedly, only to later face setbacks or losses that challenge our beliefs and strengths. These setbacks often represent the limitations of our own understanding and trust in God. It is important to remember that God's teachings go beyond religious norms and standards, and we should not confine Him to a certain box. We must be open to experiencing God in ways that may be beyond our comprehension and selflessness. Regardless of whether we are rewarded with pleasures or faced with trials, we must rely on God's guidance and gifts rather than solely on our own reputation.
