When we fragment God's salvation, we compromise our own autonomy. In the Old Testament, God entered into a covenant with Abram not only to spread the message of salvation to all nations, but also to ensure the prosperity of a nation by protecting them from their adversaries. By compartmentalizing the gospel, we restrict God's ability to fulfill His purpose of saving His people. Salvation should be the ultimate objective in every aspect of our lives, as it is solely achieved through God and granted to us for our liberation.
God has assured us that by meditating on His word, we will achieve His success. His word serves not only as guidance, but also as a means through which He asserts His power and authority over all things. It is through His word that we can comprehend both ourselves and God. We are not incomplete beings in need of something external, but rather participants in God's ongoing creation of all things, shaping our identities and cultures. Our salvation is achieved through God's continuous words of liberation. With a mindset rooted in the unseen, we can align ourselves with God's transformative work and utilize His word for our own prosperity.
We have unwavering faith in something that may appear overly simplistic to some, but in truth, the gospel's straightforward message holds profound wisdom. By comprehending the ultimate aim of salvation, the method by which it is achieved, and the full scope of what is required for our redemption, we utilize the teachings of God as a tool for transforming our sinful nature into one of righteousness. We do not inhabit a world that must be fundamentally altered, but rather one that has been plagued by a curse and is in need of deliverance and renewal.
The works of God that we observe are considered wonders, including the miraculous transformation of salvation from spiritual death to eternal life. This same power and authority that regenerated us is evident in all aspects of our lives that are renewed. Through the gift of faith, we can envision and experience the future full salvation that is already promised to us, inspiring hope for deliverance in this world. By holding onto God's covenant promises, using His word as a tool for recreation, and expressing our response and passion through prayer, we are drawn into fellowship with Him. Through our actions and reflections, we demonstrate our commitment to fulfilling His desires.
