The key question is how can a sinful individual be deemed righteous by God? Justification can only be fully realized when God's sovereignty is acknowledged and upheld. Without God's absolute sovereignty, our justification becomes uncertain and unreliable. Trust in our salvation can only be complete when placed in the hands of a sovereign God. Those who acknowledge their need for acceptance also affirm the importance of God's sovereignty as a foundation for their security in salvation. Any attack on divine sovereignty undermines our trust in God and leaves us feeling guilty and unfulfilled.

We are blessed with a singular desire that allows us to focus on an object and elevate that desire to a higher level, leading us to experience a sense of mystery. This desire, given to us as a gift, blossoms within us as we honor the source of this gift. Central to our deep worship is our concentration on the idea that the righteous shall live by faith. Our confidence is not solely in the words themselves, but in the application of a legal position that is declared as a decree. We have considered the evidence and now feel compelled to make a judgment. However, our faith in this judgment is dependent on the absolute sovereignty of God. Without a God who knows all, our pronouncements hold no legal weight, leaving us without cause for excitement.

Our salvation is attained through placing our trust in a God who has the power to speak things into existence. This showcases God's sovereignty and creative ability. The extent of blessings we receive is directly related to God's ability to turn negative situations into positive ones. If God were dependent on anything, we would not be able to rely on Him to overcome challenges. By humbling ourselves before God, we can lessen the amount of time we spend feeling negative emotions such as guilt, shame, and fear. Each moment spent struggling with difficulties teaches us to have faith and confidence in God.
