The worship book of the Old Testament serves as a guide for how the narrative is constructed. The wisdom book, on the other hand, functions as a rule book, expressing God's authoritative inspiration. It is as if God is seated on His heavenly throne, using the Prophets' pens to tell the story of redemption. Every word in the Old Testament is carefully arranged by God, who is the creator of time and holds our lives in His hands. Through Christ, who prayed to the Father, committing His spirit into His hands, we are raised to eternal life. In this way, Christ, as the perfect law keeper, speaks on our behalf. The Old Testament serves as a testament to God's satisfaction in protecting us through His law. It is a precious gift from God, who reigns on high, providing us with a historic account of His covenant people's protection amidst a nation that has strayed from His ways.

The prophets served as the ministers of God's covenant. The Abrahamic covenant, through which God promised blessings for those who bless and curses for those who curse, was not made to all of Israel. The prophets approached God through a worship book, which was given to them to elevate their understanding of God's glory. While God resided on the mountain where the temple was built, He revealed to them a knowledge that surpassed the earthly temple. This revelation, conveyed through words, brought about enjoyment as the people were enlightened to behold the magnificence of God. The ceremonial law, though viewed as burdensome in retrospect, instilled a deep yearning in their hearts for the arrival of the Redeemer who would deliver them from their troubles. They redirected their focus from the law to the grace of God in a more practical manner. Regardless of the system one follows, the love-hate relationship with the things of God remains constant, as the salvation of God surpasses all other means of seeking Him. It transcends the boundaries of time and space, representing a kingdom that resides within us.
