For certain individuals, the tree of knowledge of good and evil possessed a peculiar allure that enticed certain individuals away. These individuals propose the notion that making a choice entails finding oneself caught between two forces of equal potency - the force of divine decree and the malevolent force emanating from the tree. However, it is crucial to note that in the absence of tangible evidence of a choice, the concept itself becomes null and void. A genuine choice is merely a manifestation of God's benevolence, affording us the opportunity to revel in the liberation of exercising our own volition.
It is evident that God has ordained all events that occur, providing us with sufficient guidance to resist the influence of the devil. Indeed, He has predetermined that evil and destruction hold no dominion over us. However, we seek to portray our Christian journey by embracing the concept of balance and harmony. We envision a state where our freedom is defined by the choices we make to either adhere or deviate from God's commands. We do not wish to merely recite God's pronouncements, but rather confidently comprehend our purpose and destiny through His perspective, finding security in His depiction of our identity. Therefore, we strive to redefine our perception of ourselves.
