God possesses unwavering qualities of goodness, faithfulness, kindness, and love, deserving of utmost admiration and reverence. From our limited perspective, we ponder over how a divine being could extend love towards individuals who consistently fall short of His impeccable standards, lacking the strength to wholeheartedly worship and appreciate Him as He orchestrates the creation of all things in accordance with His standards of excellence and delight. We marvel at the divine ability to tolerate the presence of a transgressor, let alone one who audaciously approaches Him, seeking undeserved blessings.
Nevertheless, despite our unworthiness, we find ourselves in the presence of God, deserving of nothing. However, God, in His role as a compassionate Father, has pledged to lend an ear to our pleas, just as a parent attentively listens to their child. In God's eyes, we are mere specks of dust. So how can a divine being embrace and actively pursue the very sinners who are at their lowest point? The answer lies in God's boundless capacity for pardoning transgressions and offering absolution. His love is unwavering, and He extends complete acceptance to those who seek it. Through a covenant with His people, God has committed Himself to treating them as His own, and He has demonstrated this commitment by undertaking the necessary actions to ensure that sinners can be welcomed in His presence. His intention goes beyond mere provision; He desires that we, as sinners, receive blessings that surpass our wildest imagination. It is important to note that God not only upholds the highest standards of reward but also intends for us to be treated in a manner befitting His own divine nature. He has proven His dedication by making a solemn vow, even at the risk of personal detriment, to uphold His promises.IIt is within our human freedom to express our desires to God, experiencing Him meeting us at our level and treating us as equals. God not only understands our struggles but also promises to be our advocate, overlooking our weaknesses and presenting us as blameless. He provides for our needs, heals our ailments, supports us in our toughest times, and offers mercy for all sins. We have the freedom to be transparent with God and feel accepted as if we had never sinned. This is the standard of care we receive in our relationship with God.
