That is precisely my point. History holds immense significance as it provides us with a genuine benchmark for evaluating the present. Throughout my two decades residing in the Psalms, I have noticed a peculiar phenomenon where my recollections of childhood and early adulthood have become more indelibly etched in my consciousness. This could potentially be attributed to my current stage in life, where I find myself less encumbered by the responsibilities of raising children and thus have more time to pursue personal interests. To be candid, this newfound awareness has evoked an unexpected surge of emotions within me, prompting me to contemplate the reasons behind this transformative experience in my present existence.
I believe that the complexity of the modern world has led me to seek comfort and solace in the memories of simpler times. Through meditation, I have discovered a disposition within myself that allows me to vividly recall and emotionally connect with those past experiences. This state of deep restfulness enables me to be overcome by the emotions associated with those days, prompting me to explore the reasons behind this phenomenon.
