The concept that personal growth is achieved through experiencing pain is a strategic method employed by leaders to establish control over individuals. This foundational belief is prevalent in various cults. In Christianity, adherents are instructed to show love towards others in the same manner they love themselves. However, this is an unattainable goal due to our inherent limitations. Nevertheless, as part of our commitment to salvation, it is our duty to actively pursue relief rather than enforce obedience upon others. We must recognize that it is not within our jurisdiction to impose our own standards on others, as it is solely the responsibility of a higher power to bring about change in individuals. Our obligation, instead, is to embrace a lifestyle of grace, seeking and bestowing it upon others as permitted by a divine entity. This remains the sole guiding principle within a Christian context.

This is why Jesus said, "My yoke is easy and my burden is light." It is the act of relieving the burdens of others that embodies Christian love, rather than trying to change them. The responsibility lies with the Lord, not us. We turn to God because we value ourselves enough to recognize His love as sufficient. God is not harsh or indifferent; he either points out our sins in order to lead us to repentance, or he forgives and removes them completely. There is no middle ground with God - any ambiguity comes from our own interpretation. If we seek love, we desire a God who provides for our needs and helps us grow. He is either unwavering in his will or he is not truly God. He either blesses his people or he does not - there is no in-between.
