One aspect that poses challenges for me in relation to Kk's perspective is his tendency to assert that our obedience is directly correlated to our proximity to God. According to this view, our spiritual progress is hindered when engaging in frequent sinful behavior. Personally, I find this perspective to be overly inflexible. In fact, I have discovered that my connection with God thrives during periods when I am more prone to sin. Consequently, I question the feasibility of establishing rigid guidelines that enable us to interpret God's communication. After all, we are engaged in a dynamic relationship with a sentient being, not relying solely on a predetermined set of instructions.I am skeptical of the notion that our relationship with God is based on a transactional exchange. It is common for us to anthropomorphize God, attributing human characteristics to Him. This oversimplification in the belief that our obedience to God leads to growth together suggests that God is waiting for us to meet His standards before allowing us to progress. It appears as though there is an attempt to streamline the relationship, potentially bordering on trying to manipulate or control God.
