With our swords at the ready, we venture forth into this world, armed with love and truth, knowing that you have provided us with sons to safeguard us from the snares of the devil and those who wish us harm. You reign over the nations, reminding them of their finite nature. Our deepest desires are to ensure the well-being of our descendants and protect the vulnerable and fatherless. You have ordained children to offer praise, silencing our foes and adversaries, and bringing an end to the reign of man. In this new world, oppression will cease, and we will govern in righteousness. May your return be swift. Dear Heavenly Father, we express our gratitude that in the appointed time, we will witness the manifestation of the prayers we have fervently offered. Your word instructs us to petition you, assuring us that you will grant us the nations as our inheritance and the entire earth as our possessions. We understand that this privilege is bestowed upon us as your children, through our connection to your only begotten Son, enabling us to approach you with confidence and seek refuge in your presence. Our prayers align with the purposes of your kingdom in this present era. From your heavenly throne, you observe the actions of humanity with a sense of amusement. Despite their inclination to disregard your existence and establish their own power, we, as your appointed kings, yearn for you to extend our prosperity. Consequently, we must equip ourselves for the great battle that lies ahead, ensuring we are armed with swords at our sides. Through this engagement, we anticipate the day when all things will be subjected to the authority of Christ, and we, as his chosen rulers, will reign alongside him. Hence, we are learning how to approach you in supplication, fully aware that one day the ends of the earth will be under our dominion, as we receive the fruit of your divine counsel. We have diligently avoided seeking counsel from the ungodly, those who refuse to submit to your word. Father, we implore you to fulfill the desires of your appointed kings, just as you have done in the past. Uphold our rights and causes, for you have never abandoned those who earnestly seek your guidance. As your kingdom advances, we are compelled to make our requests known to you, trusting that you will bring them to fruition. The king finds joy in your strength, for your aim is true, causing our adversaries to flee.
