In order to truly understand ourselves, it is crucial that we identify and acknowledge our spiritual desires, as they are integral to defining our identity. By prioritizing willingness over understanding, we risk placing our trust in temporary and superficial aspects of life. However, by gaining a deep understanding of our purpose in connection to a higher power, we are able to authentically connect with others on a profound level. Without this self-awareness and spiritual insight, our interactions with others may remain superficial and lacking in true depth and meaning.
The reason behind this is that our spiritual essence craves a connection with the divine. Without this connection, we are bound to experience perpetual anxiety. Conversely, once we establish a connection with God, we discover our true purpose in life. Consequently, every individual who enters our lives serves a purpose, thereby eliminating any feelings of disappointment or thwarted desires. We comprehend that conflict arises from the dichotomy of placing trust in materialistic idols versus entrusting our faith in the living God. Despite residing in a society that promotes idolatry, genuine desires remain unyielding and impervious to frustration.
