God, in His eternal righteousness and faithfulness, has created the world in a precise manner, establishing everything through His spoken word. All aspects of reality are meticulously structured by God's word. In our harmonious relationship with Him, every experience we encounter is intricately orchestrated by His righteousness and faithfulness, dating back to eternity. Therefore, the historical events we go through are conveyed through God's precise depiction of His functional attributes in the entirety of life. God manifests these experiences through His word, without necessarily relying solely on the physical occurrence itself. Our true identity is accurately reflected in who we are, irrespective of the circumstances we find ourselves in.
God is not only responsible for creating physical things, but He also determines the true nature and essence of those things. As a result, we are only able to grasp a partial understanding of the events that occur in our lives through the revelations provided by God. The Psalms serve as a means through which God imparts His divine knowledge to us, fulfilling our desires by communicating in a straightforward manner that aligns with the simplicity of His creation. However, fully comprehending and conveying the intricate nature of God's divine attributes is beyond our limited and flawed capabilities.
The Psalmist is advocating for a profound concept here. The term "relief" can be understood as a form of mutual contentment. Additionally, the Psalmist desires to be abundantly satisfied both physically and spiritually. In the Psalmist's perception, God has fully expressed His creation and is completely content with His work. However, the Psalmist himself faces limitations in knowledge and significant opposition. Thankfully, God has generously provided us with His perfect means of communication through His commands, laws, promises, covenants, and statutes. Through these, He has inspired a comprehensive description that adequately portrays the Psalmist's experiences. The Psalmist acknowledges that his cognitive abilities are flawed and he cannot consistently grasp communication in a natural manner. Instead, he must engage in deep contemplation to indirectly experience a comprehensive understanding of reality, rather than relying solely on his senses. This is what we commonly refer to as perceiving through the lens of faith.
However, it is imperative for the Psalmist to not only possess the knowledge, attained through Divine communication, that all aspects of existence are actively operating in accordance with God's all-encompassing blueprint, but also to deeply sense the everlasting intricacies of this Divine arrangement. This transcendental unveiling encompasses the utterances of sacred words, authentically articulating the aspirations of the Ideal Human. God has not merely solidified the objective existence of the Ideal Human through His divine utterances, but has also adeptly fulfilled every longing, thereby allowing us to indirectly partake in divine contentment.
