I have often emphasized to individuals that the ultimate objective for young individuals is to acquire wisdom. The question arises, how does one attain wisdom? The pursuit of wisdom can be likened to the relentless quest for a substantial fortune. This is because wisdom is personified as a guiding force, shaping our future. Interestingly enough, we often perceive wisdom as a catalyst for cultivating numerous dimensions within ourselves, yet it ultimately leads us towards experiencing authentic love. Wisdom engenders an insatiable longing within us, propelling us towards unparalleled euphoria, while also instilling unwavering convictions within us that remain detached from external circumstances.
The pursuit of wisdom leads us to discover God's will in His teachings, laws, regulations, and assurances. Wisdom has always been intrinsic to God's ordering of the world since the beginning of time, like a witness who has witnessed the divine order.
The omnipotent creator of the physical world governs from His throne with attributes that will endure until the end of time, overseeing every aspect of the universe. Wisdom allows one to perceive and appreciate the divine presence in the beauty of creation. Therefore, those who seek wisdom will come to know and understand the essence of God.
This is the reason why God bestows upon us various gifts for our pleasure. He blesses us with families, spouses, children, and numerous other joys. However, our ultimate source of fulfillment lies not in these tangible possessions, but rather in the benevolent entity who grants them to us. Consequently, it is possible for us to elevate individuals to the status of deities if we fail to comprehend the disparities between the Creator and His creations. When we mistakenly assign excessive value to worldly objects, they supplant our affection for God, and we become consumed with pursuing happiness solely in the pleasures of this earthly existence. Hence, it is through wisdom that we discern and uphold the proper distinctions regarding both material possessions and fellow human beings.
