The fundamental question of life is: who possesses the ability? Thankfully, this passage provides us with the answer. Only the Lamb of God possesses the necessary capability to open the scroll and disclose its contents. From Him emanates an abundance of knowledge, wisdom, and aptitude. His salvation is bestowed through the manifestation of the seven spirits of God, which serve as instruments to accomplish His purposes on earth. It is evident that these seven spirits are the Holy Spirit's handiwork and they hold a significant position at the throne of God. In this passage, we witness the commencement of divine actions that will bring about a new world. It involves the unsealing of the scroll and the dissemination of God's word throughout the entire earth. There is an important lesson to be learned here, as there is a recurring theme of the inability of anyone else to open the scroll. This scripture section serves as a prime example of teaching the concept of human limitations. It raises questions about the exaltation and capabilities of mankind. We cannot help but feel a sense of despair, realizing that our fate is heavily reliant on God's intervention and decision-making. The underlying message is that God holds the key to our salvation and His response to our needs is imminent. This salvation pertains to our personal circumstances and is to be expected in the near future.
