I have been granted the authority to dismantle false beliefs and confront individuals who place their trust solely in themselves. It is crucial to recognize that humans are inclined to devise plans and strategies instead of seeking solace in God. Failure to acknowledge this truth will only lead us astray. Engaging in deceit is a manifestation of a lack of complete trust in Him. It is unrealistic to think that we can eradicate sin on our own or with the help of others; only Christ has the power to remove sin and its consequences. Therefore, we must prioritize seeking refuge in Him over placing our trust in fellow humans. In order to find relief from our pain and sin, we must diligently strive for His forgiveness and embrace His love. Resolute individuals withstand the temptation to alleviate their suffering in a self-righteous manner, understanding that faith, prayer, the word of God, sacraments, and regulated worship are the only viable options. They are willing to endure ridicule, torment, and peer pressure for the sake of Christ and the invaluable gift of free grace. Our ultimate goal should always be to suppress the underlying intentions of our desires through the guidance of the word, as creating alternative forms of righteousness or adopting philosophical systems will only enslave us to the designs of others. The only path to true freedom lies in seeking refuge in His boundless grace; any other approach merely exerts control on a human level. We are first recipients of love, which then enables us to extend love to others.
