I would like to present a few noteworthy observations regarding the formation of mankind in the paradisiacal garden. Initially, upon scrutinizing the creation narrative, it is posited that Satan or Lucifer, who was fashioned as the preeminent and most resplendent celestial being, was brought into existence simultaneously with the formation of our planet. The locus of his existence was situated within the idyllic confines of the garden of Eden during the act of creation, wherein God, having crafted all elements of existence, including humanity, deemed them to be inherently good. In the temporal interlude spanning from God's endorsement of His creations as good to his subsequent expulsion from heaven and manifestation in the garden in the guise of a serpent, only a brief span of time elapsed. The ultimate intention of God in creating the world and everything within it is to bring honor and esteem to Himself. When God placed mankind in the garden, He had a specific purpose in mind. He presented man with a test, which caused man to experience tension because he had to adhere to the law flawlessly in order to attain eternal life. This arrangement, known as the covenant of works, was designed by God with an unwavering purpose in mind, namely, that all His intentions in creation revolve around glorifying Himself. In addition to His purpose in the garden, God has an overarching ultimate purpose: to serve as the ultimate destination and source of goodness for all that He creates and achieves within the entirety of creation.God intentionally orchestrated the fall of man in order to showcase His glory through the arrival of His Son. This allowed for the subsequent qualities and attributes that were communicated after leaving the garden to surpass those present within the garden, ultimately finding fulfillment in Christ. Both man and Lucifer underwent a brief examination in the garden, but man proved unsuccessful in obtaining righteousness and thus failed the test. This failure introduced a sense of tension in the previously harmonious fellowship between man and God.In fact, our capacity to experience a deep connection with God surpasses that of Adam. The Father sent His Son to the world to fulfill all moral obligations, and the Son obediently adhered to the law in both passive and active ways. Christ accomplished what Adam failed to do, leading a flawless life on Earth, sacrificing Himself for our sins, and now serving as our High Priest in heaven, advocating on our behalf. When we are saved, we receive the righteousness of Christ, while our sins were transferred to Him on the cross. Consequently, we are able to approach the Father at any time and with unwavering confidence. Our acceptance by grace, based on the righteousness of Christ, grants us free access, unlike Adam who had to earn his righteousness. This extraordinary display of love by God in our fallen world magnifies His glory, showcasing a love, power, and exemplary figure far greater than the first man, Adam.
